Some examples of activities you can/should be involved in at the garden:
- tend to your garden
- cut and turn compost
- weeding and adding mulch in pathways
- sweep sidewalks and walkways outside the garden
- help with soil removal and light carpentry when beds need repairs
- water plantings in front of garden, fix water leaks and roll up hoses
- help keep track of surpluses of food plants so gardeners can network sharing of food
- help keep track of which beds need attention, especially at seasonal changes
- help update new prospective members of waiting list, status and expectations
- make sure the locks are turned and the chains are utilized on the gates!
